Selective Senility…

I guess that I have always suffered “Selective Senility”. This is a quote from Dian Greisl of Silver Disobedience and you can see the entire post HERE

Of course I’ve been screwed many times & always by someone I really liked at first, otherwise I’d have protected myself better. Friends & co-workers often remind me of those times. But the irony is, I have what I can only label “Selective Senility.”  Like all of us, while we could collect an arsenal of reasons for bitterness, I genuinely don’t remember most negative incidents. I made the decision that certain things were just not worth remembering. It’s like our heads have only X-number of storage compartments: So, why would we want to fill them with junk?”

Each one of us is the custodian of an inner world that we carry around with us. Now, other people can glimpse it from [its outer expressions]. But no one but you knows what your inner world is actually like, and no one can force you to reveal it until you actually tell them about it. That’s the whole mystery of writing and language and expression — that when you do say it, what others hear and what you intend and know are often totally different kinds of things.

We’Moon gives me hope…

Love my We’moon… more information can be found here

“We will need to fill the wells of our spirit, or we may crave escape from ordinary reality . . .
If our souls are well fed, and we feel connected to Source, we can hang in there, hold the vision of a better world, and do the work that needs to be done. . . . strengthen, and structure our work. . . . “

Full Moon in Cancer for the New Year

Mysticmama had some great insights into the 2018 astral plane.  See the entire post HERE
“Cancer, sign of the Great Mother, is a sign of comforting love that deeply nourishes our emotional bodies, represents fertility and gestation within the moistness of the womb, and embodies the circle of security and protection of the family…” Pat Liles,

WE’Moon Lunar News

From the We’Moon Lunar News for New Years Weekend:
But back to this week, a Gemini Moon over the weekend brings great conversation and last-minute ideas, and good time to talk over the review of the year. . .
On New Year’s Day a moody full Moon in Cancer calls us to our hearts and stomachs.  Let’s feed one another and really think about what nourishes us, then resolve to nourish our soul, our earth, and our community in the year ahead that Moon opposes the Sun, Venus, and Saturn.

Vision Boards

Met last night with my SPIN women’s group. We did our Annual Vision Board/ Card Drawing. A very good time was had by all, and some amazing vision boards for 2018 were created.

Here are mine (two sided)

I am considering either a 8 day Paris trip or 8 days in South Africa… and this board did not help me make up my mind. And there is a 7 day European river cruise. Don’t know how so many friends of mine are offering trips in 2018, are we trying to escape America?

My word for the year is CREATIVITY and this reinforces that.

I always love the process of vision boards…

Great Quote from Quinn Creative

as the new year approaches…

Then I use more leaves to write down blessings I’d like to leave to the world: kindness, compliments, generosity, forgiveness, appreciation of what I have, the blessing of seeing another full moon, another dawn, enjoying a meal. More blessings than I thought. Another pile of leaves.

I have been using Quinn’s Word of the Year instead of New Years Resolutions, and this year my word is CREATIVITY. I have lost my mojo and will spend New Years Day doing nothing but contemplating, reviewing and doing ART! (BTW I had planned to do the whole weekend, but those plans changed…)

2018 will be a better year…
