Whats on my worktable today…

Well, not really on my desk, but we spent the afternoon decorating and making aprons at Suzanne’s house. I did take videos, but no pics.

Yesterday I finished the 4 ATCs for Pocket Change, an ATC swap. Here are my 4 ATCs. The top two ATCs are the back of the card, and the bottom two ATCS show the front of the card with a quote reading”Work and Play are words used to describe the same thing under differeing condtions.” Mark TwainThis shot is of fabric and thread that I am working on to submit to the semi-annual Fiber Fiesta. It is due March 1, so I had better hustle!

Another Catchup Post

Mail Me Some Art is a group of mail artsits that I contribute to. These are postcards that I have received over the last month. The postcard on the left is from Christine @fruitnseason {instagram}; the amazing hand is from Ruth E; and the bird on the right is from Kathy O. This is a unstructured group, you simply leave your email and snail mail address and people send you mail art. Then you return the card… I like it because there is no pressure with deadlines, etc. have you ever got a Where’s George bill? I got three on Sunday. You go to www.wheresgeorge.com, log in the serial number of the bill, and it displays the path the bill has taken as it circulates through the system! Very Interesting. I am slipping in a kitteh pic. I walked into my bedroom the other day, and saw them snuggled up in a patch of sunlight.I am enjoying these roses that were left over from the wedding I attended this last weekend. They are gorgeous, but have no scent! This pic uses Kim Klassen’s Ugg Love texture!

12 inspiring things

Artists are sharing 12 things that inspire us on 12/12/12. I am sharing twelve postcards that I have received in swaps over the last two months. I love seeing the different styles and materials that artists use to create these gems!

12 pieces of fabric pulled at random from my stash… I love them all, so I did not need to pick, just any 12 would work. I saw these books (altered and ready to be altered) in my shelf over my worktable… they inspire me too!

30 Days of Get Your Art on Day 7
